For those who use charcoal, we suggest using a charcoal chimney and newspapers or lighter blocks to light the charcoal. Others may use a pile of briquettes with lighter fluid. Regardless of what method you use, the charcoal must be dry in order to ignite. To keep the charcoal dry, always keep it in a dry area. That could be your garage or a tight container. In areas where there is high humidity, more so than in desert areas, never keep your charcoal outdoors unprotected or in a non-climatized storage area or shed. Your best bet will be to dispose of the charcoal and go buy a new bag. |
