They are extremely flavorful and easy to cook. When people think about pork ribs one of their favorites is the Memphis Style Pork Ribs. One reason the Memphis styled so popular is because they have a unique blend of spices, seasonings and sauces. As our site grows we will get into more depth about the different styles of ribs across the nation. We will be learning about mopping sauce for basting during cooking, finishing sauce used near the end of the barbecue cooking process as well as when and when not to use barbecue sauce on the meets. Ribs are traditionally smoked or barbecued and not grilled, baked, broiled or boiled. Some folks use Hickory while others use fruit woods and other milder cooking woods. It is just a preference. First and foremost you do not want to overcook them nor do you want to over smoke them. Over the days, weeks, months and years to come we will show you how to clean ribs, sliced ribs, and serve ribs among many other useful tips and techniques for preparing the finest in out door cooking.
