Sabroso Whole Roasted Chicken

I can feel the breezes now...

Out in the West Texas town of El Paso / I fell in love with a Mexican girl....Marty Robins. You will certainly fall in love with this chicken sabroso. Direct flavors from Mexico.

1 Whole Roasting Chicken, 5 lbs plus

Olive Oil or Butter
Knox’s Sabroso dry rub seasoning
2 Oranges cut into 8 pieces each

Rinse and dry chicken. Rub with melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with Sabroso seasoning.

Stuff chicken with the orange wedges and tie back legs together. Grill using indirect heat or bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours or
until internal temperature is about 180.

Allow to rest, carve and serve.
