Simple, Delicious ChickenIt doesn't have to be hard guys!Sometimes simple is good, or even great! This little recipe will prove to be not only great (and simple), but a basic recipe which you can build upon as time goes on to make it even better! 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
Place chicken in a shallow bowl and sprinkle with 1/2 of the dry ingredients. Run your fingers under the skin, without tearing it, where you can and try to get the rest of the dry ingredients between the skin and the meat. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1-3 hours. Preheat your grill or barbecue pit for medium-hot (about 350°), indirect heating (heat on one side and you will place the chicken on the other side). Remove the chicken from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you head for the grill to allow it to begin warming. Cook chicken until done. About 10 minutes before you are finished, pour the barbecue sauce evenly over the chicken and cook for the last 10 minutes. Remove and serve. |
